Stephen John Cummins, Transworld Group – May I wish you all a Merry Christmas

Christmas is such a special time of year.

For me it is the time that I remember the birth of my Saviour, Jesus Christ; when God became man to save my soul. That’s a pretty big deal. It is to me at least – and something certainly worth celebrating!

However, whether that is the meaning of the celebration for you or, whether you take some other meaning from it, it really is a wonderful time of year where we get to pause and celebrate all that is good!

My hope for you all, especially in light of recent tragic events here in Sydney, is that you find peace this Christmas. May your mind be calm and your heart be light.

As I write this I am listening to one of my favourite Christmas carols “God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen” and some lyrics seem particularly potent right now:

I send tidings of comfort and joy to you and your loved one this Christmas. May it be a time of memory-making, laughter, fabulous food and awesome presents that don’t need to be exchanged!

Whatever you hold in your heart and however you celebrate the season, I hope it is a truly Fabulous Christmas for you all!
